Accoring to TMZ, Ne-Yo's trading hos for hoes ... because they found out he's gonna be a farmer.
Real estate sources tell us ... the R&B superstar dropped $520K on a gated 5-bedroom, 3-bath house that sits on 2 acres of farmland ... in the boondocks outside of Alpharetta, Georgia. The listing calls it a "hobby farm."
Hard to say if he plans on growin' his own crop ... he's been known to provide housing to relatives -- like the $550K crib for his mom he bought a couple years back. Pics of the farm crib after the cut..
