A father of five is currently in police cell where he is telling the security operatives all he knows about his wife’s accusation that he has been raping his three daughters aged 10, 15 and 17, respectively.
The man who hails from the south eastern parts of the country lives in Mararaba area of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, according to his wife, has been dissipating his insatiable sex appetite on his young children and all efforts to make him stop fell on deaf ears, before the children’s mother reported the case to the police.
According to the reports filed by the wife, the man who is described as a serial rapist, was once accused of sleeping with his own sister some years ago in Lagos, while the family lived there, and that led to the separation of the couple.
Daily Trust reports that when the wife could no longer bear the embarrassment of the husband sleeping with his sister, she reported him to his relations and subsequently moved to the village with the last child, leaving him with four of the children upon advise from relations.
The husband soon relocated to Abuja to avoid snide remarks and comments by neighbours, taking with him the four remaining children, including the three girls he is being accused of indulging in incestuous relations with.
A family source told the newspaper that the man has since been suspected of committing the crime, but neither the children nor neighbours came forward to talk about it.
However, nemesis caught up with the man when he complained to the wife that one of the girls was disobedient to him and the woman decided to come to Abuja to unravel the reasons behind her daughter’s behaviour.
Upon arrival, she interrogated the daughter who disclosed to her that her father had been forcefully sleeping with her, saying that was the cause of the trouble.
Further investigations revealed that the mother of the girls made additional findings from the other two daughters who also told her that their father had been sleeping with them as well.
The worried woman confronted the husband who denied the allegations but unable to provide a plausible excuse, the woman reported the issue to the police who swooped in and arrested him.
The case is currently with the Nasarawa State police command for proper investigation and prosecution.
