A prominent Lagos politician and Chairman of Jabita Intercontinental
Hotel, Chief Rasheed Adewale Shitta-Bey will clock 80 on September 16.
In celebrating the life and times of the Second Republic House of Representatives member, who is now a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ground-breaking events have been lined up by Shitta-Bey’s committee of friends and associates.
According to a press statement issued in Lagos, on Monday and signed on behalf of the planning committee by Veteran Olawale Okunniyi, a special meeting of friends and associates of Shitta-Bey held on Monday, at Jabita Intercontinental Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, to formalise the week-long celebration.
The statement further added that the former national chairman of the Mega Progressive Peoples Party (MPPP) would be honoured by the Lagos Television, LTV8 on a special yoruba programme “Owuro Lawa” on Wednesday, September 17.
