Mariah Carey may still believe that someday she and ex Nick Cannon will find themselves in love again, but in the meantime she’s reportedly seeking solace in the arms of a longtime friend.
Mariah is apparently being comforted by director Brett Ratner following her big split, and the two are getting very, very close. The singer was Brett’s date to the premiere of his film Hercules back in July however, and they’ve known one another for 20 years, often vacationing together when Mariah was married to Nick. The two certainly seem like a perfect fit. Page Six reported.
