A Chinese man is lucky to be alive because of his Samsung Galaxy Mega Phablet.
The owner of the phone was arguing with another man in a restaurant in Shanghai, after which they stepped outside to fight, and during the course of the fight, he got shot down by his gun-wielding aggressor.
After falling, he was quickly taken to the hospital by friends, but the medical staff and police discovered that the phone in his breast pocket had stopped the bullet from penetrating into his body.
Apparently, his near-escape was because his opponent was using a “modified” and less powerful gun, and also because the bullet first his hand, before hitting the sturdy Samsung phablet.
Galaxy Mega Phablet is Samsung’s largest phone, featuring a 6.3-inch screen.
