Instagram! How the stars couldn't resist snapping themselves at MTV Video Music Awards and sharing the images on social media

If it's not on social media it didn't happen is a common refrain these days and celebrities at the MTV VMAs on Sunday took that seriously. Their sister Kim Kardashian may be the queen of the selfies but Kendall and Kylie Jenner (pictured centre and, top left, with Kim) gave her a run for her money as they took time out on the red carpet to snap pictures of themselves with fans. And the reality TV siblings were not the only people posing up a storm while they preserved their appearance at the event for posterity, with Miley Cyrus sharing updates from her night while Jennifer Lopez used her own page to show how popular she is.
