Good One! This came just in time for Nigeria's bid to
participate in the U-20FIFA Women's World Cup, as well as the male African U-17
Championship qualifier this weekend. The football governing body FIFA has
lifted an International match ban it plased on the country after the Nigerian
government went against its policy by interfering in the crisis which rocked
the Nigeria Football Federation after the Aminu Maigari-led board was sacked on
July 6th.
The Amos Adamu-led lobby team sent to FIFA by sports
minister Dr. Tammy submitted a proposal and met FIFA's requirements which
resulted in the ban being lifted today...
