In Spartanburg, South Carolina, last week, a 38-year-old woman allegedly attempted to steal a vibrator from Spencer’s gift store at WestGate Mall. Unfortunately for her, store management was actually paying attention that Thursday afternoon and busted her in the act.
According to the Smoking Gun, store employees watched Misty Ann Lee (mugshot above) make her way into the store’s “love section” and, as she was browsing around the “t-shirt cube,” picked up a vibrator and slid the item “behind a young child in a stroller,” reads the report.
Just when Lee was about to exit the store, a Spencer’s manager approached her and found the vibrator in the stroller.
Not thinking on her feet (she should have blamed the kid), Lee admitted to her wrongdoing. She now faces shoplifting charges and was jailed that afternoon but released on a $2,000 bond.
