A Nigerian man has been quarantined in Hong Kong over Ebola [DETAILS]
The Hong Kong government has released a statement confirming that a 32-year-old unidentified Nigerian man, has “tested negative for Ebola virus after preliminary laboratory testing.
The Nigerian man was quarantined yesterday, 10 August, in Hong Kong after he showed Ebola-like symptoms while in the city.
He had arrived Hong Kong from Lagos on Thursday , 7 August via Dubai, and was isolated in a hospital after severe vomiting and suffering from diarrhea.
According to the statement by the Hong Kong government, the man had no prior contact with Ebola infected persons or animals.
It read in part; “In the past one month, he had no contact history with sick persons or animals and did not visit health-care facilities. He is currently in stable condition.”
